The Nifty was up 2.90 points or 0.01 percent at 19,396.50 at closure, and the Sensex was up 3.94 points or 0.01 percent at 65,220.03. Approximately 124 shares were constant, 1390 shares fell, and 2150 shares rose. The benchmark indexes for India completed the erratic session on August 22 unchanged.

Aeroflex Industries IPO issue subscribes 4.72 times
According to cumulative statistics accessible on BSE, the Aeroflex Industries public offering received 4.72 times as many subscriptions. 2.32 crore shares were offered, but it received applications for 10.96 crore shares. Retail investor quota was subscribed 5.01 times, non-institutional investor quota was subscribed 9 times, and shareholder quota was subscribed 2.05 times. Institutional purchasers who met the requirements purchased 1.05 times the allotted amount.
The Mumbai-based company hopes to raise Rs 351 crore with this IPO, at the maximum price range. The IPO consists of an offer-for-sale (OFS) of 1.75 crore shares by the promoter business SAT Industries and a fresh issue of shares for Rs 162 crore.
