In a choppy day on August 24, benchmark indexes declined, with Nifty closing under 19,400.

Aeroflex Industries IPO subscribed 81.36 times
The last day of bidding, August 24, saw a strong response to Aeroflex Industries’ Rs 351 crore initial public offering (IPO), with the issue being subscribed 81.36 times. Investors outbid the 2.32 crore offer size by 188.89 crore equity shares, giving the business the first-mover advantage in the flexible flow solutions market. Analysts noted that strong financial results and a better debt-to-equity ratio also increased investor confidence.
High net worth people purchased 15% of the IPO, or 120.18 times their reserved share. The amount bid by qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), who were allocated 50% of the IPO, exceeded their quota by 148.15 times.
