Top 5 stocks of the day: Jio Financial, Tata Steel, Maruti Suzuki, Eicher Motors and M&M are among the top gainers on the Nifty, while Power Grid Corporation, SBI, BPCL, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, and Hero MotoCorp are the top losers. Real estate index increased by 1%, while auto, FMCG, information technology, and metal all increased by 5%. Power, oil, and gas, and banks, on the other hand, each had a 0.5% decline.
Sensex and NSE Nifty50
The Nifty is up by 4.80 points at 19,347.50 at closure, and the Sensex is up by 11.43 points at 65,087.25. A total of 2233 shares increased, 1291 fall, and 143 are unchanged. The BSE midcap and smallcap indices both increased by 0.5 to 0.8 percent. In the extremely turbulent market on August 30, the benchmark indices came to a flat close.

Zomato jumped over 5 percent
After an additional 1.53 million shares are traded in multiple transactions, Zomato’s stock price increased by more than 5%, as per the data of Bloomberg. Around 100 million shares, or 1.17 percent of the total outstanding shares, are traded at an average floor price of Rs 94.70 earlier in the day. According to few reports, which cited sources that SoftBank is trying to reduce its 1.17 percent interest in the company owned by its venture capital fund, SoftBank Vision Fund, in the leader in food delivery.
