Top 5 stocks of the day: Indian bond yields inch lower after inflation slump
Indian government bond yields fell slightly on Tuesday morning after local retail inflation fell to a two-year low, bringing the country closer to the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) target of 4%.
The benchmark 7.26% 2033 bond yield was 7.0034% at 10:00 a.m. IST, down from 7.0184% the previous session. In anticipation of a weaker inflation figure, the benchmark yield finished two basis points lower on Monday.
