Sensex and NSE Nifty50
The Sensex was down 365.53 points or 0.56 percent at 65,322.65, and the Nifty was down 114.80 points or 0.59 percent at 19,428.30 at the time of closing. A total of 1491 shares rose, 1988 decreased, and 136 were constant. On August 11, benchmark indices decreased at the close for the second straight session, with Nifty closing under 19,450. Also finishing with slight losses were the BSE midcap and smallcap indices.

U.S. stock futures traded near flat
As traders awaited wholesale price data and deliberated the consumer inflation report for July, U.S. stock futures traded relatively flat on Friday. Just 6 points were added by futures tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average. While Nasdaq 100 futures declined by 0.1%, S&P 500 futures also remained relatively flat.
At 8:30 a.m. ET, the July reading of the producer price index will be announced. According to economists surveyed by Dow Jones, the report will show a 0.2% increase from month to month.
