Recall of 1 mg Tacrolimus capsules

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories has announced that, as a precautionary measure, on December 15, 2023, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Inc., began a limited voluntary recall of one particular batch of 1 mg Tacrolimus capsules from the U.S. market. There are 8,280 bottles in the batch, each holding 100 capsules. A product complaint regarding one foreign capsule in a single bottle—one 0.5 mg Tacrolimus capsule discovered in a bottle of 1 mg Tacrolimus capsules—led the company to voluntarily initiate the single-batch recall.
