Top 5 stocks of the day: On the Nifty, the top gainers were Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto, BPCL, Eicher Motors, and IndusInd Bank; the top losers were Cipla, UltraTech Cement, LTIMindtree, SBI Life Insurance, and Larsen & Toubro. On the sectoral front, there was a mixed trend, with the information technology index down 0.5 percent and the healthcare index down 1%. Conversely, the car index increased by 0.4 percent, and the real estate and oil and gas indices climbed 1 percent apiece.

The Nifty was down 9.80 points, or 0.05 percent, at 19,802 at closure, while the Sensex was down 5.43 points, or 0.01 percent, at 66,017.81. A little over 1748 shares rose, 1407 shares fell, and 120 shares were unchanged. India’s main indexes concluded their tumultuous session on November 23 on a flat note.

IPO had received 31.79 subscriptions
On the final day of bidding, November 23, the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency’s initial public offering (IPO) had received 31.79 subscriptions by the afternoon. In response to the 47.09 crore offer size, investors submitted bids for 1,497 crore equity shares. High net worth individuals (HNIs) and qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) purchased shares at a rate of 82.05 and 22.84 times, respectively, over their allocated limit. Half of the offer has been set aside by the public sector undertaking (PSU) for QIBs and the remaining 15% for HNIs.
Retail investors have reserved the remaining 35 percent of the net offer; they have booked 7.1 times their limit. Workers had placed 8.79 bids for the space they had reserved. 18.75 lakh shares have been set reserved by the Mini-Ratna PSU for its staff members.
