While HCL Technologies, Apollo Hospitals, Bajaj Auto, HDFC Life and LTIMindtree are the top losers. All sectoral indexes, with the exception of real estate, finished higher, with gains of 0.4–2% seen in healthcare, metal, power, banks, and oil and gas. The smallcap index finished unchanged, while the BSE midcap index saw a gain of 0.8 percent.

Sensex and NSE Nifty50
The Nifty was up by 223.40 points and reached at 22,643.40. However the Sensex was up 941.12 points and ended at 74,671.28 at the closing. A little over 1777 shares rose, 1578 shares fell, and 133 shares remained constant. With the Nifty closing above 22,600, the Indian benchmark indices erased earlier session losses to close higher.
