The Nifty was down 5.10 points, or 0.03 percent, at 19,406.70, and the Sensex was down 16.29 points, or 0.03 percent, at 64,942.40 at the closing. A little over 1878 shares increased, 1616 shares decreased, and 146 shares remained the same. In the tumultuous session on November 7, benchmark indices concluded flat.

Alkem Lab marking an 88% YoY increase
Alkem Lab reported net income of Rs621 crore in Q2, 88% YoY higher than analyst projections. Additionally, their revenue exceeded expectations, rising 12% YoY to Rs3440 crore. Notably, US revenue hit Rs768 crore, a 27% YoY rise, while India’s sales were at Rs2330 crore, up 5% YoY. Furthermore, revenue from other regions increased by a strong 28% YoY to Rs287 crore. Nevertheless, overall expenses rose 2.6% YoY to Rs. 2800 crore.
