Top 5 Stocks Of The Day: Top gainers on the Nifty are Tata Motors, BPCL, Grasim Industries, Eicher Motors, and Adani Enterprises, while top losers are Bajaj Finance, Titan Company, UltraTech Cement, NTPC, and Bajaj Finserv. With the exception of real estate and PSU Bank, every other sector saw a decline of 0.5–1% for the indexes, including capital goods, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, and electricity. The BSE Smallcap index was unchanged, while the BSE Midcap index dropped 0.5 percent.

Sensex and NSE Nifty50

The Nifty was down 215.50 points, or 0.99 percent, at 21,522.10 at closure, while the Sensex was down 801.67 points, or 1.11 percent, at 71,139.90. A little over 1897 shares rose, 1333 shares fell, and 68 shares remained constant. In the tumultuous session on January 30, benchmark indices concluded down, with Nifty closing at 21,500.

Gillette reported a net profit of Rs 103.90 crore

For the December quarter, Gillette reported a net profit of Rs 103.90 crore, up over 40% year over year from Rs 74.50 crore during the base period. To Rs 639.50 crore, the topline also increased, albeit only slightly, by 3.4 percent year over year. Nevertheless, the EBITDA margin increased to 24.4 percent in October–December from 20.4 percent in the same period last year, indicating an improvement in the operational performance.
