Sensex and NSE Nifty50
The Nifty was up 356.00 points, or 1.62 percent, at 22,338.80 at the closing, while the Sensex was up 1,245.05 points, or 1.72 percent, at 73,745.35. A little over 2079 shares rose, 1214 shares fell, and 77 shares remained constant. On March 1, Indian benchmark indices saw gains for the second straight day and reached new all-time highs, with the Nifty closing above 22,300.
