Union Budget 2023: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is presenting the general budget in the Parliament. This is the last full budget of the second term of the Modi government. She said that there is a lot of attraction for tourism in the country. The government is going to work in mission mode regarding tourism. Looking at the immense potential of tourism in the country, there will be a lot of employment opportunities.
Youth will get employment
The Finance Minister said, “The country offers immense attractions for domestic and foreign tourists. There is immense potential in tourism. There are huge opportunities for jobs and entrepreneurship in this sector especially for the youth”.
According to government considerations, the Minister said that tourism is an untapped market with “large potential and opportunities for jobs for youth”.
According to Sitharaman, the promotion will be taken up on mission mode with the active participation of state and public-private partnerships.
However government has already launched schemes like Swadesh Darshan and Dekho Apna Desh.
