Chandrayaan-3: On August 23, 2023, India made history by landing for the first time at the South Pole of the Moon. On the south pole of the Moon, the Chandrayaan-3 mission of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) imprints 1.4 billion hearts. In India’s Space Odyssey, this is an instance of incomparable brilliance that will be cherished forever. In the midst of moments of pride, a different kind of report surfaced, claiming that India’s Chandrayaan 3 mission cost less than the Adipurush movie, starring Kriti Sanon, Prabhas, and Saif Ali Khan, as well as the two most recent Hollywood blockbusters, Oppenheimer and Barbie.
Chandrayaan-3 Costed less than recent blockbusters
Chandrayaan-3, India’s lunar blockbuster, cost the country Rs 615 crore. If the amount is converted to US dollars ($75 million), it is less expensive than the flop movie “Adipurush” (budget: Rs 700 crore), as well as the two Hollywood films currently dominating the global box office, Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie” ($145 million) and Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” ($100 million).
All about Chandrayaan-3
