Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar initiated a special identity card — called Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) — through which the state government intends for monitor each of the approximately 54 lakh families living across the state.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal on Tuesday inaugurated the scheme by giving identity cards to 20 families in Panchkula. The objective of Family Identity Card is to develop an authentic verified and reliable data base of all families in Haryana, according to the source.
Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala and Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Rattan Lal Kataria were also present during the inauguration.
A brainchild of team CMO, the PPP will enable the citizens to get the advantages of several central and state government schemes at their door-step in a fair and transparent manner.
Chief Minister said in Panchkula that the State government has decided to celebrate the year 2020 as ‘Susashan Sanakap Varsh’ and the integration of schemes of all departments with PPP would not only ensure effective and efficient delivery of services to the people but also put an end to the complaints of corruption and red-tapism in this system.
At present, four schemes — Mukhya Mantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana (MMPSY), Old Age Samman Allowance Scheme, Divyang Jan Pension Scheme, and Widow and Destitute Women Pension scheme — have been integrated with ”Parivar Pehchan Patra” (PPP).
