Control rooms have been activated by the Government of India for the Indian citizens trapped in Ukraine. These control rooms have been established in Poland, Romania, Hungary and Slovak Republic.
These countries share a border with Ukraine. Indian stranded in Ukraine can get help by calling the numbers issued by the government and can come back home.

At the same time, an Indian student has also died in Kharkiv city on Tuesday in Russia’s attack. Naveen Shekharappa, a resident of Karnataka, had gone to the ration shop. It is being told that he was standing to take ration, when an administrative building was targeted by the Russian army. Naveen also died in the grip of this attack.
The National Student Union of India (NSUI) is protesting today on the issue of students trapped in Ukraine. This demonstration is being held outside Shastri Bhawan. Meanwhile, since this morning, 5 flights from countries around Ukraine have reached Delhi Airport.
