Dehradun News: Occupying land illegally won’t be easier in Dehradun anymore, as the DM has come out with strict rules and regulations to come down on the offenders. All the SDMs of the district have been asked to speed up probe related to forgery of land. Instructions have been given to solve the cases early so that the complainant doesn’t have to roam unnecessarily for his queries. Cases should be registered on immediate basis.
Officials asked to take action in cases of fraud
The SDM has also instructed the officials to take action in case of any fake Registry. In one fake stamp case, the DM asked the district excise officer to conduct surprise visit and take proper action. Teams have been formed to keep an eye on the illegal construction work going around the area and get them demolished without any delay.
Many illegal construction work had been halted
A Lot of illegal land and construction work has been demolished and halted by the authorities. The authorities are taking these steps in view of the illegal construction work and many cases of fraud reported from the city. Many people have suffered frauds in land Registry and files complaint. After this the authorities have come into action and started inspecting all the documents and paper work carefully.
