Design details
A single-sided swingarm, a diamond-shaped tank, and an air inlet are included with this motorcycle. Its Ducati-designed Centro livery pays homage to the racing graphics of a 1999 Superbike World Championship-winning bike with Carl Fogarty. This fairing features the well-known tricolour, white number plate, and number 1. The Laurel logo, the same colour as the 916, is featured on the tank cover.
With its 17-inch carbon fibre five-spoke wheels, the Panigale V4 SP2 30 Anniversario 916 weighs 1.4 kg less than the Panigale V4 S. Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tyres measuring 120/70 ZR17 for the front and 200/60 ZR17 for the rear are mounted on the wheels.
The front Brembo Stylema R callipers of the braking system clamp down on two 330mm discs and are paired with carbon fibre cooling ducts. The limited-edition Ducati’s back end features a 245mm disc that is held in place by two-piston callipers.
Powertrain details
The engine of the Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 30 Anniversario 916 is the same as that of the regular Panigale V4 SP2, a 1,103cc V4 that produces 123.6 Nm at 9,500 rpm and 212.5 bhp at 13,000 rpm. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox that features an up-and-down Ducati Quickshift EVO 2 quick-shifter.
