A plea has been filed in the Kerala High Court against the conduction of the Kerala Nursing Examination 2021,which is set to be conducted in offline mode.According to the plea,students are urging for the cancellation of offline exams.

Two B.Sc. Nursing students have filed the plea in the state,who are asking the Kerala University of Health Sciences to cancel the examination in view of the current Covid-19 pandemic situation.
The plea also highlighted how several students tested positive after travelling back to the hostel to appear for the Kerala Nursing Examination 2021.A great risk to the health of students and rising spread of the infection.
Students not vaccinated yet:Plea
In the plea,it was also stated that the students who tested positive for Covid-19 were not allowed to seek medical treatment,which could have posed a lot of risk to their health.

The plea also states that many of the students have not been vaccinated with both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, which needs to be the minimum requirement for the conduction of offline examinations, as per the University Grants Commission.
The conduction of offline exams during the current pandemic situation is a violation of their rights under Article 14 and Article 21 of the Indian constitution. Thus, they are pushing for the cancellation of the exams.The Kerala Nursing Examination 2021 is set to commence from August 4 in offline mode.
