Electric Vehicles: The incentive available on the ex-showroom price of the electric two-wheeler has been lowered from 40% to 15%, therefore as of today, or June 1, 2023, purchasing an electric two-wheeler in India will cost you more than before. In addition, the Rs 15,000 per kWh subsidy for electric two-wheelers has been decreased to Rs 10,000 per kWh. As a result, it is possible to witness a rise in the price of electric two-wheelers.

New prices of a few Electric Vehicles

OLA Price Hike

Ola Electric, a leading manufacturer of electric two-wheelers, has also raised the cost of its electric scooters by about Rs 15,000. Following this, the new prices for the Ola S1, Ola S1 Air, and Ola S1 Pro were set at Rs. 1,29,999, Rs. 99,999, and Rs. 1,39,000, respectively.

The cost of the Ather 450X has increased by around Rs 32,500 as a result of the FAME Scheme II’s drop in the subsidies for electric vehicles. It was formerly available for a price of Rs. 1.28 lakh, but as of June 1, the new price will be roughly Rs. 1.61 lakh ex-showroom.
