These days the recruitment process of Agniveer is going on across the country. Army Intelligence is also alert about rigging and fraudsters in recruitment. At the same time, a case of fraud has come to light from Meerut. In the year 2019, a person recruited in the army with fake documents was expelled from the army. A person named Kamal Singh had joined the army using the fake name Rahul Singh. He also took 6 months army training. But when it was found that he had produced forged documents, he was fired from the army.
According to a report in TOI, the now 25-year-old accused has once again become the candidate of Agniveer with forged documents. But this time he was caught by military intelligence officers. He was arrested from Meerut on Wednesday morning. Also, this time the accused could not even pass the physical test. He has been caught and handed over to the Muzaffarnagar police. During further interrogation, another ex-serviceman Mehkar Singh was also arrested from Meerut, who specializes in forging documents.
Muzaffarnagar SSP Vineet Jaiswal said regarding this matter that Agniveer is being recruited in Muzaffarnagar and a joint team of Military Intelligence and Muzaffarnagar Police identified Kamal Singh and he was arrested on Wednesday. He had participated in the race on September 21 and now he came here again on Tuesday with another set of documents. This time his documents revealed that he was from Bulandshahr. He has been booked under IPC 420 (cheating), 467 (forgery of valuable security).
