This year was one of the most exciting periods for auto enthusiasts as the auto market witnessed the launches of some great vehicles ranging from all-new electric cars to the ICE powerhouse. 2024 will also be equally busy because of some imminent and affordable launches expected to dominate the Indian automobile market. Kia Sonet Facelift
The recently unveiled Kia Sonet facelift will be launched in 2024 and the standard model of this car is expected to come under 10 lakh. The sub-compact SUV has received some major upgrades inside and out which include an all-new grille, LED headlamps and ADAS. The standard model of this sub-4 metre SUV also comes loaded with impressive features such as ESC, 6 airbags, HAC, VSM and parking sensor. The automaker has not upgraded the SUV in terms of mechanical as it comes equipped with the same powerhouse.
Tata Altroz
Tata Motors is also expected to launch the upgraded Altroz in India in 2024 which will cost under 10 lakh. Tata Altroz is expected to retain its design while coming with some cosmetic upgrades and getting more classy-looking cabin and interiors. It is expected to feature a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen. Apart from these, the hatchback is also expected to get a 7-inch digital driver’s display, sunroof and ventilated front seats. In terms of mechanical, it will get the same 1.2 litre Naturally Aspirated engine, 1.2-litre turbo petrol and 1.5 litre turbo petrol diesel engine.
Nisaan Magnite Facelift
Nissan also has plans to launch an upgraded model for its popular compact SUV, the Nissan Magnite and it will be the facelift model of the same. The sub-compact SUV is expected to receive some major upgrades in the interiors and exteriors. The updated model will remain the same in terms of mechanicals
New Maruti Swift
Maruti’s Japanese partner, Suzuki recently showcased all-new Maruti Suzuki Swift in the Japan Mobility Show. The popular hatchback will feature a largely similar design language as the Japanese model except for some new additions to comply with Indian driving conditions Additionally, the Maruti Swift will feature all-new interiors similar to the Maruti Fronx.
New Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire
Along with Maruti Swift, Maruti Suzuki will also launch Swift Dzire and that too under 10 lakh. The sedan model will get the same upgrades as the hatchback Swift. In terms of mechanicals, it will be equipped with the same 1.2-litre 3-cylinder NA Petrol engine coupled with a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox. Along with this, both models of Swift will get a CNG option too.
