Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya gave this information. With this, all people above 60 years of age will now be able to get a booster dose. Till now, only health care workers, front line workers and 60+ people with any comorbidities were being given booster doses of the vaccine in India.

He further wrote that I am happy to inform that from March 16, Covid vaccination of children of 12 to 14 years is starting. Also, all people above 60 years of age will now be able to get precaution doses. He also appealed to the children and the elderly to get the corona vaccine.
The vaccination of children started in India from 3 January. In the first phase, children between the ages of 15 and 18 are being vaccinated. Now the vaccination of 12 to 14 year old children is also going to start.
