From Tata and Maruti Suzuki to Audi; These Cars Will Get Costlier from 2024

Car Price Hike: Many of the automakers in India have announced that they will increase the prices of their cars from January 2024. Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest car maker announced the price hikes of all its offering by 2024. Some other major automakers including  Mahindra, Tata and Audi have also announced price hikes for the vehicles by 2024. Many factors have contributed to this price hike for the cars which includes increasing raw material costs, particularly aluminum and steel. Check out more details below

Tata Motors 

Tata has announced its plans to increase prices for its passenger vehicles including its EV portfolio. Even though the automaker has not given any details about the price hike, it is expected to come with a new price chart soon. The forthcoming price hike is expected to affect the extensive range of the automaker. 

Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest automaker was the first one to announce a price hike by January 2024. The company has announced that its price hike will vary from model to model and will affect every product across its extensive range in India.

Mahindra 

Mahindra has also shown its intentions to increase the prices of its vehicles from 2024. The automaker has stated inflation and rising input costs as the reason for price hikes. The brand is expected to share more details regarding the price hike at a later date. 

Audi

German automaker, Audi has also announced a 2 per cent price hike for its extensive range available in India. The new price hike announced by Audi will also affect the prices of some of its popular models such as A4, A6, A8, Q3, Q5, Q8, Q7 and others.
