- Traffic Advisory Issued for Chhath Puja in Ghaziabad
Light vehicles are advised to be cautious as traffic restrictions will be implemented from 2 pm to 8 pm on November 19th, extending until the end of the puja on November 20th. These restrictions will apply to major routes to and from the Chhath Ghats and Hindon River. Diversions have been strategically planned to accommodate the expected increase in traffic around these areas. Additionally, commercial vehicles such as trucks, buses, tractor trolleys, tankers, and autos will face restrictions during this period.
To ensure smooth vehicular movement, private and small vehicles must adhere to the advisory. Drivers are urged to check Google Maps for real-time traffic updates and consider alternative routes if necessary. The advisory aims to alleviate potential traffic congestion and enhance the overall traffic experience for residents during the festive period.
As part of the preparations, additional parking arrangements have been made around the Chhath Ghats, with traffic police personnel stationed strategically to guide and manage the flow of vehicles. The advisory emphasizes the importance of following the designated diversions, cooperating with traffic authorities, and using alternate routes when possible to ease the traffic situation. The traffic police are committed to facilitating a safe and hassle-free Chhath Puja celebration for the residents of Ghaziabad.
