A strict curfew has been imposed in Goa from May 9 to May 23, which has been increased to May 31 today. CM Pramod Sawant has announced this, according to which the curfew ending May 23 has been extended till May 31.
During this period, the strictness issued from the previous will continue. The state government has given permission to open drug, ration and liquor shops from 7 am to 1 pm during the Covid-19 curfew, which will continue.
Already, the state administration has banned many activities while allowing essential services, hospitality sector and medical facilities to operate, which will continue.
Permissions for takeaway orders of restaurants are from 7 am to 7 pm.
It will be mandatory to bring Covid-19 negative report to people from outside the state coming to Goa Restaurant, Bar, Casino, Sports Complex, Auditorium, Community Building, Amusement Park, Gym, Spa, Saloon, Cinema, Theater, Multiplex, Mall, Swimming Pool, School, College, Educational & Coaching Institutes, Religious Places & Markets during curfew Will be closed .
