Gold And Silver Price Update: In the Indian bullion market today on Thursday, for the second consecutive day, there was a fall in the prices of gold and silver again. On the previous day (Wednesday) also, there was a decrease in the prices of both these metals as compared to Wednesday evening. On the morning of July 20, 10 grams of gold of 999 purity is being sold for Rs 50477, while the price of one kg of silver of 999 purity is Rs 55230.

According to ibjarates, 10 grams of gold of 995 purity is being sold for Rs 50275, gold of 916 purity is being sold for Rs 46237. Apart from this, the price of ten grams of gold of 750 purity is Rs 37858. Ten grams of gold of 585 purity is being sold today for Rs 29529.

On the other hand, the price of one kg of silver of 999 purity has gone down to Rs 55,230.

On the morning of July 20, 10 grams of gold of 999 purity has become cheaper by Rs 201 compared to the previous trading day, while the price of gold of 995 purity has seen a fall of Rs 200. Gold of 916 purity has become cheaper by Rs 184, while the rate of gold of 750 purity has come down by Rs 151.

Today, the price of gold of 585 purity has decreased by Rs 118 as compared to the previous trading day. Apart from this, if we talk about one kg of silver of 999 purity, then its price has come down by Rs 33.

There is a way to measure the purity of jewelry. In this, many types of marks related to hallmark are found. Through these marks, the purity of the jewellery can be recognised. It has a scale ranging from one carat to 24 carats.

22 carat gold is used to make jewellery. It is mandatory to put a hallmark on the jewellery. 24 carat gold is pure gold, 999 marks will be recorded on it.

24 Carat gold is called purest gold. It does not contain any kind of adulteration of other metals. It is called gold of 99.9 percent purity. In 22 carat gold, 91.67 percent is pure gold. The other 8.33 percent consists of other metals. At the same time, 87.5 percent pure gold is in 21 carat gold. 18 carat contains 75 percent pure gold and 14 carat gold contains 58.5 percent pure gold.
