Gold And Silver Price Update: After a good recovery by the global market, pressure is being seen on the prices of gold and silver. Today at 10 am, gold futures trading on MCX saw a decline of 148.00 points or 0.29 percent. Till this time it was trading at 51,455. Silver was also down by 465.00 points till the same time, meaning the metal was down 0.82 per cent at 55,978.
Today’s prices are according to futures trading on MCX. These are the rates in the futures contract of Gold on 5 October 2022 and Silver contracts expiring on 5 September 2022.
According to the information given by HDFC Securities, yesterday (on Thursday) a fall in the rates of gold and silver has been recorded in the bullion market of India. Ten grams of gold became cheaper to Rs 52,224, while the rate of one kg of silver also came down and now it was selling for Rs 57,298.
There is pressure on the prices of gold and silver in the international market. Gold is at the level of $ 1752 per oz, and silver is at the level of $ 19.35. Spot gold is currently at a three-week low. Due to the strengthening of the dollar, the pressure on the price is visible. The dollar index has currently risen by 0.20 percent to a level of 107.63. The dollar is believed to be strengthening due to the news of a hike in repo rates by the US Federal Reserve.
