7th Pay commission: There is great news for central employees. The government has recently increased the dearness allowance by 3% under the 7th Pay Commission. After this, the government has also given gifts to the employees of the 5th and 6th pay commission. Now by increasing the DA of these employees by 13%, they will also be given the same DA as the rest of the central employees. Actually, there are some such employees among the central employees who are not getting the benefit of 7th Pay Commission till now.
According to the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, the DA of the employees getting salary under the 5th Pay Commission will increase to 381 percent, while the DA of the employees working under the 6th Pay Commission will be increased from 196 percent to 203 percent. That is, it will increase by 7%. The benefit of increased DA to these employees will also be applicable from January 2022. These employees will also be given 3 months arrears.
It is worth noting that the Central Government had recently increased the DA of the employees by 3%. After this, the total DA of the employees has increased to 34%. Employees will be given its benefit from January. Along with this, they will also be given arrears of 3 months. With the increase in dearness allowance, other allowances of central employees will also increase. This will also increase the travel allowance and house rent allowance.
The increase in Dearness Allowance or DA of employees is calculated on the basis of their basic salary. That is, if the basic salary of an employee is 21 thousand, then he will now be given DA at the rate of 34% instead of 31%. That is, now 34 percent of the basic salary will be added to the salary. Apart from this, due to the increase in other allowances, there will be a bumper increase in the salary of the employees.
Now know which employees were not getting the benefit of 7th Pay Commission till now. Some employees working in central departments or autonomous organizations have not yet been included in the 7th Pay Commission. The Central Government has given a bumper benefit to these employees working under the recommendations of the 5th and 6th Pay Commission by increasing the DA in lump sum from 7 to 13 percent. After this increase, there will be a tremendous increase in the salary of the employees.
