With the imminent Pran Pratishtha event at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the Uttar Pradesh government has unveiled plans to provide helicopter services for devotees traveling to Ayodhya from various cities in the state. The helicopter services will be initiated from Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Agra, and Mathura.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to inaugurate the helicopter service from Lucknow on January 19. The government has already set the fares for these helicopter services and intends to extend this facility to other districts in the near future.
Helicopter Services for Devotees during Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Event
In addition to facilitating transport to Ayodhya, the state government is introducing a unique aerial darshan (viewing) experience of Ayodhya city and the Ram Temple for devotees. The tourism department will oversee the implementation of this initiative. Devotees interested in the aerial darshan will be required to make advance bookings to avail themselves of this service.
Mukesh Meshram, Uttar Pradesh’s Principal Secretary of Tourism, mentioned that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the provision of helicopter facilities for devotees visiting the Ram Mandir. The helicopter services will commence from six districts in the state, and the operation will follow an operator model to serve devotees and tourists efficiently.
