The havoc of Corona has once again started scaring the world. Omicron’s sub-variant BF7 is causing record cases in China. Now a case of BF7 has also been registered in Gujarat’s Vadodara. An NRI woman who came to the country on 9 November has been infected with this variant.
First case of BF7 in the country?
Two more cases have come to the fore in Gujarat, about which it is being said that they are also infected with BF7. But it has not been confirmed yet and the sample has been sent for further investigation. Now even before BF7 cases have come to light in the country, a case was also registered in October, but this time because this variant is creating havoc in China at a different level, in such a situation, concern has started in India as well.
Government alert, this appeal to the people
An important meeting was called by Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Wednesday. After that meeting, NITI Aayog member Dr. VK Paul told that there is no need for panic. It has been decided in the meeting that every week there will be a review meeting in the Ministry of Health regarding Corona. Corona testing is being done in sufficient quantity in the country. In between, the Ministry of Health will decide what further steps are to be taken. VK Paul also emphasized that now once again everyone needs to wear masks in crowded areas. There has also been an emphasis on taking booster dose from his side.
Health Minister’s letter to Rahul Gandhi
Now on one hand, the central government is already talking about taking precautions, while on the other hand, the health minister has written a letter to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. It has been said in that letter that all the corona protocols should be strictly followed during the journey. Till now no response has been given on that letter from Rahul Gandhi, but Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has said bluntly that BJP is scared of his visit. Because of this, efforts are being made to stop the yatra by making an excuse of Corona.
Talking about the Corona situation in China, ever since the Zero Covid policy has been relaxed there, Corona has taken an explosive form on the ground. The situation has become such that there are no beds for patients in hospitals, even essential medicines are not available. Long queues have formed at the cremation grounds. No death toll has been released by China yet, but experts are telling that in January-February next year, another fierce wave of corona is going to come in China.
