The Arunachal Pradesh government has extended the COVID-19 related restrictions in the state till February 14 with some changes. Under the new rules, students who have taken a single dose of anti-Covid-19 vaccines will be able to attend classes on the school premises.
According to the new order issued by Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar, all workplaces and commercial establishments will be allowed to open with 50 percent capacity till 8 pm.
Night curfew will continue from 9 pm to 5 am. At present, visitors will not be allowed to come to government offices and if possible, the meetings should be done online. In addition, all public servants will have to submit the vaccination certificate to their respective offices. Bars, restaurants, gyms, swimming pools, cinemas and auditoriums will open with 50 percent capacity.

Schools have been asked to conduct classes in well ventilated rooms with 50 per cent students. The weekly markets will remain closed for the time being. People who have been vaccinated can participate in mass and religious gatherings in closed and open places, provided the venue does not have more than 50 percent of its capacity.
The Health Ministry said that the number of patients under treatment in the country has come down by 53,669 and now their number has increased to 18,31,268, which is 4.43 percent of the total number of infected. The recovery rate from the infection has gone up to 94.37 percent. According to the ministry, the daily infection rate in the country was 15.77 percent while the weekly infection rate was 15.75 percent.
According to the data, the total number of people recovering from the infection has gone up to 3,89,76,122 while the Covid-19 mortality rate is 1.20 percent. The total number of people found infected so far in India has gone up to 4,13,02,440.
