The European Medicines Agency (EMA) said on Thursday that a special investigation team has found that Astrazeneca is safe and effective against Covid-19 and is beneficial. In fact, after the reports of blood clotting in some people taking the vaccine came to light, the countries of the European Union had banned the vaccine of Astrazeneca. Simultaneously, an investigation was started in this regard.
EMA executive director Emer Cook said the agency’s Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee (PRAC) found the vaccine to be safe and effective and had no connection with blood clots.
Chairman of EMA’s Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee (PRAC), DrSabine Strauss stated, “This vaccine is safe and effective in preventing COVID-19, and its benefits far outweigh its risks. Also, because the vaccine is effective in preventing the disease of covid-19, which itself is a cause of blood clots, it probably reduces the risk of thrombotic events,” he said.
However, the World Health Organization (WHO) has already said that the Oxford-AstraZeneca corona vaccine is completely safe. The WHO refused to put a stop to this vaccine and said that they had not seen any side effects of the vaccine in their investigations that were fatal .
