The state media of China is pushing a new theory regarding the Coronavirus. According to a researcher, in this theory, beef of Brazil and shrimp of Saudi Arabia and lobster of Maine of America is being said to be the reason for the spread of corona virus. Marcel Schleibs, who researches propaganda for the global think tank Policy Research Group (POREG), has studied hundreds of accounts supporting China’s agenda.
Marcel Schleibs said, “Identified hundreds of accounts supporting the China agenda, which advance the theory of cold meat exported to cause the spread of the coronavirus. The Chinese media is interested in proving that beef from Brazil, shrimp from Saudi Arabia and pork from America are the cause of the spread of the corona virus.”

It has been said in the report that China’s latest claim is that the lobster from Maine of America is the reason behind the spread of the corona virus virus.
According to the global think tank, Schlebs analyzed Twitter feeds of pro-China accounts over the course of 18 months and found that the Maine lobster theory was introduced by a Chinese diplomat stationed at the Kolkata consulate.
The report said, “Zha Liu posted this theory in November 2019 and it resulted in a lot of backlash. Both wholesale suppliers of lobster and the Centers for Disease Control in Maine have explicitly stated that these claims have no basis in facts, but China has ignored it.”
