CM Yogi has order to take action against hospitals refusing COVID-19 patients

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a strict action against hospital who will refuse admission of Covid patient.

He has instructed that strict action should be taken against those who are admitted in hospital for sending coronas infected from DM and CMO level under the Pandemic Act as per rules.

In this regard, the Medical Education Department has issued orders to all the commissioners, DMs and CMOs of the state.

Taking serious note of the poor attitude of the hospitals, the CM has issued an order that if now the hospital has shown avoidance in the admitting of any corona patient, then a case will be filed against it.

All the commissioners, DMs and CMOs of the Medical Department have been ordered to take strict action by filing a case under the pandemic Act.

With this, oxygen generation plant will be set up in four medical colleges and four autonomous state medical colleges to reduce oxygen shortage in Uttar Pradesh. For this, the state government has released Rs 1.15 crore.

The result of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s strategy in the fight against Corona is that the government has already bought adequate quantities of ventilators, HFNC and BIPAP in government hospitals and medical colleges to treat serious patients.

Currently, more than 5000 ventilators, 1600 high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) and 1000 bilevel positive airway pressure (BIPAP) are available. Apart from this there are additionally in private hospitals. However, there is a readiness from the government to increase it if needed.

The number of corona infected is increasing rapidly in Uttar Pradesh. There have been 22,439 cases of corona infection in the state in the last 24 hours. While 4,222 people have also been discharged.

At present, the total number of active cases in the state is 1,29,848. Maximum number of 5183 new cases have been found in the capital Lucknow. At the same time, 1888 cases have been found in Prayagraj, 1859 cases in Varanasi, 1263 cases in Kanpur, 750 cases in Gorakhpur.

Meanwhile CM Yogi Adityanath himself and former CM Akhilesh Yadav have also become Corona positive .
