Most of the people found infected in Bihar’s second largest hospital are junior doctors, interns and PG students.
Patna DM Chandrashekhar Singh said, “The corona report of 87 doctors of Nalanda Medical College and Hospital in Patna has come positive. All either have no symptoms, or some have shown mild symptoms. All have been found in the hospital premises itself. Isolated. “
According to the bulletin issued by the Bihar Health Department, the number of active corona patients in the state is 1074. At the same time, in the last 24 hours, 27 people have defeated Corona.
So far, a total of 714358 people have been cured of corona. According to the department, the corona recovery rate in the state is 98.19 percent.

Schools in Bihar capital Patna have been closed for a week due to the outbreak of cold wave and increase in cases of Covid-19. Classes of ninth and above have been kept out of the purview of the order issued by the administration.
Patna District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh said in the order that in all private and government schools till the eighth standard, the teaching-learning activities will be suspended till January 8.
The first case of the Omicron variant of Covid-19 was reported in the state last week in Patna.
