Covid-19 Updates: Delhi’s Covid-19 tally saw a significant rise with 2,073 cases being reported on Wednesday, according to the daily bulletin shared by the health department. As many as five related deaths were also reported during the period, besides 1,437 recoveries.
The positivity rate stands at 11.64 per cent, highest since January 24 when it was 11.79 per cent, according to the government data.
In the view of rising Covid cases, the Delhi High Court has decided to work in hybrid mode.The circular issued today states: “Keeping in view the rise in COVID-19 infections in Delhi and in order to reduce the footfall in the court premises, the chief Justice of India has requested that the hybrid mode of hearing will be continued until further orders.”

The national capital has been reporting over 1000 cases for a week now. The city has been witnessing a massive jump in Covid numbers, after it had declined in the past month.
On Tuesday, Delhi had reported 1,506 fresh Covid-19 cases. The capital had also recorded a high positivity rate of 10.63%.
