The pace of the second wave of Corona in the country is now slowly slowing down. On Saturday, the cases of corona virus infection in the country have reduced significantly. In Delhi, where the number of new patients has come down to less than 1000, the number of new patients has come down in the last 24 hours in UP-Madhya Pradesh, Bihar as well.
In more than 10 states of the country, including Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, the lockdown has been more than a month. On Friday, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has announced to start the unlocking process in the state from May 31, while already in Madhya Pradesh, the Shivraj Singh government has ordered to implement the unlock from June 1 in the state. At the same time, lockdown can be relaxed in Jharkhand-UP-Bihar also from June 1.
In Delhi, where orders have been given to open construction works and factories under Unlock from Monday, then in UP, unlock can be announced with some discounts. Roadways buses are still prohibited from going to other states in UP. Weekly markets are closed. Most of the shops in the markets are also closed, which can be opened a few hours.
Curfew is in force in Goa till 31 May.
Assam, Sikkim, Mizoram have full lockdown till 31 May.
There will be complete lockdown till June 7 in many areas of Arunachal Pradesh and till June 11 in Nagaland.
Manipur also has lockdown till May 31 and in Meghalaya’s most affected East Khasi Hills district till May 31.
The Covid-19 curfew has been extended till June 5 in Tripura.
The Rajasthan government has fixed the lockdown period till 8 June. However, in the districts where the infection has decreased, business activities can be relaxed from June 1.
There is a lockdown till May 31 in Haryana. Here too, a decision can be taken in 1-2 days on furthering the lockdown. Haryana has already announced many discounts like opening of shops throughout the day.
In Bihar too, the lockdown has been imposed till June 1, but CM Nitish Kumar has given indications of relaxation from June 01.
Restrictions like lockdown in Jharkhand have been extended till 3 May. In view of the dwindling cases of Corona, an unlock can be announced here on May 1.
In Uttarakhand, the lockdown restrictions have been extended till June 01. But between May 28 and 8-12 pm, people have been given the freedom to shop unabated.
The lockdown in Himachal Pradesh has been extended till 31 May, which was earlier applicable till 26 May.
The Jammu and Kashmir administration has also extended the curfew till May 31.
Corona curfew restrictions in Madhya Pradesh will be relaxed gradually from June 1. CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the world has to move forward but we have to unlock in this way.
There is a lockdown in Odisha till June 1. Here on May 5, for the first time a two-week lockdown was imposed, which has been extended by two weeks.
