There is a shortage of beds for dengue patients in Safdarjung Hospital and Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. He further said that no patient is being turned back and added that there is a shortage of beds in the centrally run hospitals but the Delhi government has made adequate arrangements in the Delhi government hospitals.
According to a report released on Monday, Delhi has reported over 1,000 cases of dengue this year, with over 280 cases registered last week. Out of the total dengue cases reported in Delhi this season, 665 were recorded in the first 23 days of this month alone.
