Covid Update Today: Number of new cases of corona in India is continuously decreasing

The number of new cases of corona in India is continuously decreasing. There has been a decline of 3.4 percent in new COVID-19 cases in the country in the last 24 hours. On Wednesday, 1,61,386 cases of Covid were reported in the country in the last 24 hours and during this time 1733 people lost their lives due to corona infection, this includes 1063 cases of backlog death in Kerala. Talking about the last 24 hours, 57,42,659 vaccine doses were given in this period, so far some 1,67,29,42,707 vaccine doses have been given.

At present, the number of active cases of corona in the country is 16,21,603 and the rate of active cases is 3.90% and recovery rate is 94.91%. In the last 24 hours, 2,81,109 patients were recovered from corona and with this the total number of people recovered is 3,95,11,307. Daily positivity rate is 9.26%. So far, a total of 73.24 crore cases have been registered while 17,42,793 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.

On Tuesday, 1,67,059 new cases of corona were registered in the country and there was a decline of about 20 percent in the cases of corona. In the last 24 hours, 1,192 deaths were registered from Corona. However, a backlog of 638 deaths in Kerala was also added to the death toll.
