The havoc of dengue is increasing in many states of the country. Situation has become that people are starting to panic now. In the capital Delhi itself, more than a thousand patients of dengue have been reported in a week. In UP too, the highest number of cases were found this year after 2016. In Punjab, the situation has become worse. There is a shortage of paracetamol here. Dengue havoc continues in Rajasthan. At the same time, more than 1100 patients have been found in Jammu and Kashmir and special wards have been made for dengue patients here.
In the months of September and October, due to heavy rains, the places got waterlogged, due to which diseases like dengue and chikungunya spread rapidly. Operation is being run to stop the breeding of mosquitoes. In the houses where the presence of mosquitoes was found, legal notices have been sent to 270 people by the Health Department and 76 challans have been taken.
The highest number of dengue cases at 23,065 have been reported this year after 2016. So far 8 patients have died. The government claims that the model of testing, tracking and treatment is being worked on and cleaning and spraying is being done at various places.
The government has claimed that there is no shortage of beds for dengue patients in the state. Dengue cases are decreasing and the disease is likely to be under control by the end of November.

Dengue is showing its deadliest outbreak in Punjab till date. So far 18,266 cases have been reported here and 60 people have died. Earlier in the year 2017, 15,398 cases were reported.
Dengue is showing its havoc in Rajasthan too. So far more than 13 thousand patients have appeared here and the number of deaths is also increasing continuously. In the state’s largest government hospital, Sawai Man Singh Hospital itself, 58 patients have died due to dengue this year. According to doctors, the DANV-2 type of dengue is causing havoc.
Jammu and Kashmir has also seen a huge jump in dengue cases in recent weeks. So far, more than 1,175 cases have been reported here. 4 patients have also died. The maximum number of cases are being reported in Jammu division.
