Dengue fever is more common during the monsoon season. Recovery from this sickness might take a long time, but there are natural remedies you can make at home to help you heal faster and provide critical nutrients to your body. Here are a few easy elements that can help you feel better:
Papaya leaf treatment: Papaya leaves are a powerful natural treatment for dengue. To make this, place a glass of water in a basin with washed and chopped papaya leaves. Crush them finely to make a watery paste, then shake and drink the mixture.
Turmeric and black pepper: Turmeric has anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral qualities that help to fight infections and viruses. To make it faster, mix it into any dish you’re cooking or drink it with warm milk.
Tulsi leaves and pepper: Tulsi leaves are a traditional treatment that aids in recovery and protects against viruses. Take 3-4 tulsi leaves, wash them, and boil them in a saucepan with a glass of water to produce this. Once it reaches a boil, season with black pepper and drink this juice multiple times.
Pomegranate and pumpkin: Pomegranate and pumpkin are two of the greatest fruits to help you recover from an infection. Because of the presence of ellagic acid in them, these fruits can be eaten raw or in juice form to raise blood platelet counts.
Immunity-boosting chai: This traditional tea concoction, developed by health coach Luke Coutinho, may detoxify your body, enhance immunity, and has anti-inflammatory effects, making it indispensable during the rainy season. To make this tea, combine fresh spices such as cinnamon, turmeric, ginger powder, black pepper, jaggery, and one tablespoon of cold-pressed coconut oil.
