Unknown factors that cause blood sugar changes
Health professionals believe that the following factors could be contributing to the highs and lows:
• Extreme sun exposure can lead to severe dehydration if you have diabetes and are frequently exposed to the sun’s harmful UV radiation. Doctors claim that sunburn can increase blood sugar levels because sweating causes the kidneys to retain water while the liver continues to release glucose, lowering insulin sensitivity.

• Artificial sweeteners: People with diabetes typically give up sugar or switch to artificial sweeteners, which are promoted as the healthiest choice. On the other hand, they are long-term contributors to a chronic imbalance and an increase in blood sugar levels.
• Dehydration: People who don’t drink enough water are always dehydrated, which interferes with their organs’ ability to function normally. Diabetes patients would have a sharp change in their blood sugar levels as a result of inadequate hydration because the body hangs onto water during dehydration, which causes the blood sugar to become more concentrated.
• Nasal sprays: According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, nasal sprays, which are intended to clear plug the nose, contain some harmful substances that cause your liver to produce more blood sugar, leading to an imbalance.
•Not eating breakfast: Even if you consume a very light lunch or dinner, skipping breakfast, the first meal of the day, can seriously impair the functioning of your beta cells, according to health experts.
• Not getting enough sleep: Sleep is linked to most bodily processes, and experts claim that those with irregular sleeping patterns have a wide range of health problems, including diabetes. A single night of inadequate sleep has a negative impact on insulin consumption and production. Lack of sleep results in lower amounts of the hormone leptin, which makes us feel full, and higher levels of ghrelin, which makes us hungry.
