Amid growing Corona transition, a state level Covid Monitoring Committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal.
In the meeting, from 1 May, it was decided to apply free corona vaccine to people above 18 years of age in government hospitals.
There will be registration on April 28 about this. The CM said that anyone who does not register will not be vaccinated.
People will get vaccine free in all government hospitals of Haryana. This decision was taken in a meeting of Haryana Monitoring Committee in Chandigarh today.
Several officials of the state, including Home Minister Anil Vij, were present in this meeting chaired by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
Also, the Chief Minister directed that 50 percent beds in all private hospitals of Haryana should be reserved for Kovid patients.
Meanwhile Telangana had earlier on announced that it will provide free Covid-19 vaccine to all, irrespective of age at the government hospitals.
Also the Haryana government on Thursday (April 22) had announced several restrictions to control the COVID-19 second wave.
The new guidelines includes closure of shops by 6 pm and a ban on all non-essential gatherings.
