How was the study conducted?
The study was conducted among 672 children from the state of Rhode Island.308 children among 672 were born prior to January 2019 and 188 were born after July 2020, whereas 176 were born between January 2019 and March 2020.Only children with no developmental disabilities were included in the study.
However, the data didn’t highlight whether the impairments are temporary and will normalise as employment and school closures restrictions are lifted and children return to pre-pandemic times where they can interact with children of their age and enjoy with them.
