AIIMS Neurologist Priyanka Sehrawat has three ways to improve your health with the use of a smiley ball. She talked about important reasons and ways. Check out the three ways below;
- Number one is sensory distraction. It gives you a sensory distraction because of which you can declutter the noises, the extra noises in your mind and it helps you relax and concentrate more.
- The second is grip strength. The small smiley ball is very important in the rehabilitation of our stroke. When you do this exercise of pressing the ball, it also builds up your muscles. We have 20 small hand muscles in our hands. When their muscle fibre increases and they get strengthened, we get more power. It helps in grip strength also.
- Third and very importantly, mindfulness. Mindfulness can be not only obtained from meditation but also from a smiley ball. It helps you to be more mindful and stay grounded in the present moment.
