Covid -19: According to data published on Monday by the Union health ministry, India has reported 173 new coronavirus infections, while the number of current cases has decreased to 2,670.

The data updated at 8 am showed that the overall number of Covid cases was 4.46 crore (4.46,78,822) and the death toll was 5,30,707, with two fatalities reported in the previous day, one by Kerala and the other by Uttarakhand.

According to the ministry’s website, the national recovery rate has increased to 98.80%, and the number of active cases is 0.01 percent of all infections.
