India on Thursday reported 31,923 new Covid cases in last 24 hours, pushing the total coronavirus tally to 33,563,421, according to health ministry’s updated data at 9 am.
As many as 282 patients died and 31,990 recovered from the viral disease, taking the cumulative count of deaths and recoveries to 446,050 and 32,815,731 respectively. The active cases in the country stand at 301,640.
Recovery Rate currently at 97.77%; Highest since March 2020. 31,990 recoveries in the last 24 hours increases Total Recoveries to 3,28,15,731, according to Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
At 3,01,640 is the lowest the country has seen in the last 186 days. The national recovery rate has been registered at 97.77 per cent.
To detect Covid-19, 55.83 crore samples have been tested so far, according to health ministry
Weekly positivity rate less than 3% for last 90 days.
Odisha reported 644 fresh COVID-19 cases, 445 recoveries, and 7 deaths yesterday.
Tamil Nadu reported 1,682 fresh COVID-19 cases and 21 deaths on Wednesday, as per the health bulletin released by the state government.
83.39 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
