MP News: Madhya Pradesh will conduct a Pulse Polio campaign from December 8 to 10 across 16 districts. Chief Minister has urged all citizens to ensure that children under 5 years of age are administered polio drops during this period. The campaign aims to protect young children from the life-threatening disease, as vaccination remains the sole measure to prevent polio.

Government’s Commitment to Eradicate Polio

The government has intensified its efforts to eliminate polio by reaching every corner of the state. Special vaccination booths will be set up in urban and rural areas, including high-risk zones, to ensure comprehensive coverage. Health workers and volunteers will visit door-to-door to administer the vaccine to children who might miss out on booth visits.

Public Cooperation is Key

Officials have emphasized the importance of public participation in making the campaign successful. Parents are encouraged to actively participate and spread awareness about the benefits of the polio vaccine. The Chief Minister has reiterated that safeguarding children’s health is a collective responsibility and urged citizens to join hands in this mission.

Ensuring No Child is Left Behind

Special focus will be given to remote and underserved areas to ensure every child receives the vaccine. Transportation arrangements, cold storage facilities for vaccine safety, and trained personnel have been mobilized to address logistical challenges.

This initiative underlines Madhya Pradesh’s dedication to achieving a polio-free future.
