The Union Health Ministry said today that 200 cases of Omicron have been registered across the country so far. These cases have come to light from 12 states of the country. Most of these cases are from Maharashtra and Delhi. However, 77 patients infected with the new variant have been cured so far. A third wave is being feared about Omicron. Experts believe that due to Omicron, there may be a jump in cases from next year. Meanwhile, the government is trying to test the effect of the vaccine.
Out of the total 200 cases, 54 have been reported in Maharashtra, 54 in Delhi, 20 in Telangana, 19 in Karnataka, 18 in Rajasthan, 15 in Kerala, 14 in Gujarat. At the same time, 2 cases have been reported in Uttar Pradesh, 1 in Andhra Pradesh, 1 in Chandigarh, 1 in Tamil Nadu and 1 in West Bengal.

At the same time, 5,326 new corona cases have been registered across the country in the last 24 hours, which is the lowest number of new cases in the last 581 days. Talking about those recovering from Corona, during this time 8,043 people have defeated Corona, after which the total number of people recovering from Corona reached 3,41,95,060.
The recovery rate in India is currently 98.40%, which is the highest since March 2020. At the same time, talking about active cases, 79,097 people are currently undergoing treatment in the country, this figure is the lowest in 574 days.
