International Yoga Day 2023: Every year on June 21, people worldwide observe International Yoga Day. It acts as a forum for promoting awareness of yoga’s many advantages on a global scale. During his address to the UNGA in September 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi originally suggested that September 21 be designated as International Yoga Day. On June 21, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the world’s commemoration of International Day of Yoga at the UN headquarters in New York.

Embracing ‘One World-One Family’ with Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar

Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar, who is from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh, will preside over the national celebration. Yoga For Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, or yoga for the benefit of all in the form of “One World-One Family,” is this year’s theme for Yoga Day.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia Embodies Wellness

Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Union Minister for Civil Aviation, practised yoga in Delhi’s Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan.

On Wednesday, the national capital of Delhi observed the International Day of Yoga with events in which political figures and bureaucrats took part. Participating in yoga day activities in the city were Union ministers Hardeep Singh Puri, Mansukh Mandviya, and Piyush Gotal as well as Delhi Lt Governor VK Saxena.

International Yoga Day Celebrated Worldwide, Honoring India’s Cultural Heritage

“International Yoga Day is being enthusiastically observed today not just in India but all throughout the world. We can all be proud that yoga is being honoured around the world and that the world is embracing India’s rich culture, according to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who spoke to ANI. Manohar Lal Khattar, the chief minister of Haryana, urged people to make yoga a priority in their lives by committing at least 30 minutes a day to practise in honour of the International Day of Yoga on Wednesday. On the International Day of Yoga, Khattar told a crowd in Panipat, “We can only encourage others to practise yoga when we practise it ourselves.
